Psychoanalysis has developed over more than a century now. It no longer has a closed and universal set of concepts. We will enter the world of basic psychoanalytic concepts, sampling its founding ideas and new interpretations of those ideas that have evolved. Learning will be highly participatory and collaborative, and clinical relevance will be emphasized.
The class will be taught by Karin Ahbel-Rappe, Ph.D., M.S.S.W, at 2131 Angell Hall, near State Street and N. University Avenue on the UM campus. Please contact Dr. Ahbel-Rappe at (734) 272-3516 or k.ahbel-rappe@sbcglobal.net.
